Program Manager

Location:

Hartford, CT (Onsite 5 days a week) Must have experience on Property and Casualty insurance domain.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain expertise to lead complex business and technology initiatives across underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong project management discipline with hands‑on knowledge of P&C insurance processes, products, and systems to successfully deliver high‑impact projects.

• Clarity, Planview or like PPM tool
• Agile Project Management tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Rally, Jira, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Powerpoint, Excel
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of P&C insurance projects, from initiation through implementation
• Manage projects related to policy administration systems, claims platforms, underwriting tools, rating engines, and billing systems

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years in program management including large complex programs
• Experience in tracking program financials using a PPM like tool (e.g. Clarity, Planview).
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of P&C insurance projects, from initiation through implementation
• Manage projects related to policy administration systems, claims platforms, underwriting tools, rating engines, and billing systems
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge and experience of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project
• Experience in leading IT project teams that contain vendors, onshore/offshore Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, Data Analysts, QA, etc.
• A proven track record of successfully implementing projects using Agile methodologies.
