Compensation OverviewThe annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?Responsible for assisting the Agency and Field Development and Experience Director with the strategic initiatives, training, and development needed to support long term growth and sustainability for our Field Sales organization and Independent Agents. A critical function of the role will be driving and aligning strategic projects with organizational goals, from initial concept development through full-scale implementation.
What Will You Do?- Learns how to consult with field, agencies and 3rd parties to assess current agency operations, sales procedures, structure, opportunity for growth, etc.
- Develops skills needed to offer assistance and guidance in aligning an agency to be better suited for long-term company growth.
- Develops marketing and consultative skills to assist field staff in identifying new agency business and digital opportunities
- Serves as point for Agency Development Director in coordinating and conducting agency and field training to assist in better preparing agents to market and sell company products.
- Develops the skills to coach and train on approach with agents in identifying growth opportunities.
- Exposed to and may interact with all levels of management.
- Candidates are expected to actively learn Agency and Field roles in order to progress toward an Agency Development Director level position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong sales and marketing skills to build on.
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships and influence business partners at all functions and levels in the organization.
- Interpersonal versatility.
- Ability to learn to apply concepts of insurance and agency financials to field and agents.
- Ability to clearly and effectively present ideas and information, both written and verbal, to internal and external business partners.
- Excellent presentation skills.

- Ability to take responsibility for actions and outcomes, and persist despite obstacles.

- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint with the ability to translate concepts into compelling presentations that tell a cohesive story.
- Minimum of 3 years of Sales or related experience.
