Job tasksAs the Field Service Manage
r you will manage all aspects of the designated service region, including but not limited to, workforce selection, performance management, P&L monitoring, territory needs and opportunities, as well as customer relations.
Territory: New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont
- Monitor and manage the overall performance of the service zone, including revenue, expense management, and penetration into the install base
- Ensure the achievement of all key and operational measures, especially in the areas of safety, development, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, revenue generation, and profitability
- Develop and manage growth and profitability of the field service business by tracking financial performance to ensure profitability
- Partner with the Sales team to assist in securing capital equipment sales, new service opportunities, and to retain current business; presents the service offering to customers as required
- Lead the hiring, training, and development of the field service team
- Drive performance management, including performance reviews, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reports
- Develop and implement profitable service programs resulting in sales lead generation and excellent customer service
- Promote seamless collaboration between Sales and Service teams to drive profitability and efficiency
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Hands-on experience managing a field team of at least 10 mechanical technicians
- Ability to creatively solve business problems through gathering and analyzing data
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of OSHA standards in a service environment
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel (:20% overnight)
- Able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel
