Fiscal​/Administrative Supervisor; Hybrid

The Fiscal/Administrative Supervisor leads a team of three Fiscal Administrative Officers within the Department of Children and Families' Division of Fiscal Services in Hartford, Connecticut. The role oversees asset management, travel and fleet management, IT purchasing, and mailroom services, with responsibilities including financial oversight, payroll administration, purchasing, and staff supervision. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position open to current State of Connecticut employees, with potential for a hybrid telework schedule after the working test period.

• Eight years of experience in fiscal/administrative functions (accounting, payroll, purchasing) with at least one year in accounting, budgeting, or payroll
• Two years of the general experience must include supervisory responsibilities
• Knowledge of governmental budget management, accounting, payroll practices, and state/federal regulations
• Considerable interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and utilize EDP systems for financial management
• Current State of Connecticut employee with at least six months of full-time service
