Aspire Talent Solutions is partnered with an incredible CNC Machine Tool Builder on their search for a CNC Service Technician for the New England region! As a CNC Field Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting customers by maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites through New England to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools, controls, and related equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for performance improvementDiagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic componentsUtilize manuals, technical documentation, and internal/vendor support to troubleshoot complex problemsClearly communicate equipment status, repairs, and recommendations to customersAccurately complete and submit service and installation reportsEnsure customer commitments are met with a high standard of professionalism and technical excellenceBuild and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customersStay informed on new technologies and product updates through ongoing training and technical seminarsMaintain deep technical knowledge of all equipment lines represented by the companyPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
High School Diploma or GED from a technical school requiredMinimum 5+ years of hands-on experience repairing CNC machineryProficient with precision measuring tools such as dial indicators and micrometersExperience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearingsStrong understanding of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematicsAdvanced troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail and technical accuracyAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business softwareValid driver’s license required and ability to be a ROAD WARRIOR with travel up to 100% throughout New EnglandComfortable interacting professionally under pressure with customers and colleaguesAdditional Details
