CNC Machinist II
Build precision-machined components that support the defense, nuclear power, and industrial sectors.
If you're an experienced CNC machinist who enjoys complex setups, tight tolerances, and producing high-quality parts, this role offers the opportunity to work on custom-engineered products in a clean, precision-focused manufacturing environment. You'll have the autonomy to perform machine setups, make program adjustments, and solve machining challenges while working alongside a skilled engineering and production team.

- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, mill-turn, and multi-turret machining centers.
- Independently perform routine and complex machine setups.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators.
- Make CNC program offsets and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
- Create, sharpen, and maintain cutting tools.
- Operate multiple CNC machines while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Document setup changes and follow manufacturing procedures.
- Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve machining issues.
- At least 3 years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills.
- Experience with HAAS, Okuma, and/or Fanuc controls.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
- Experience using precision inspection tools.
- Strong shop math and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform complex machine setups independently.
- Experience in high-mix, high-setup manufacturing is preferred.
- Mill-turn and multi-turret machining experience is a plus.
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
