From your first day, you’ll translate customer specifications into flawless components for the Aerospace, Defense, Firearms, and Medical sectors—working in Mastercam and on the shop floor to see your programs come to life.

Your day at a glance

Open Mastercam, review models and drawings, and craft efficient 5-axis toolpaths tailored to part requirements.

Head to the floor to set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-precision parts that meet tight tolerances.

Partner with engineering and production to validate strategies, refine approaches, and ensure on-time delivery.

Run first-article and in-process quality checks, comparing results to specs and adjusting as needed.

Troubleshoot programming and machining challenges, then document solutions to strengthen future runs.

Record programs, setups, and revisions so repeat work is faster and more consistent.

Keep a pulse on new CNC and CAM advancements to continuously improve cycle time and surface finish.

What you’ll bring

Hands-on CNC programming experience with a focus on 5-axis operations.

Fluency in CAM—especially Mastercam.

Solid understanding of CNC lathe workflows and core machining principles.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints with precision.
