What You’ll Do:- As Special Events Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind fundraising and stewardship events that inspire support and engagement. You’ll:
Plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact events that engage donors, sponsors, and volunteers. - Manage auctions, in‑kind solicitations, and sponsorship outreach.
- Collaborate with the Development Team on additional fundraising and stewardship initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and attendees to cultivate long‑term support.
- Ensure every event is mission‑driven, memorable, and leaves a lasting impression.
You’re strategic, creative, and relationship driven. You thrive on bringing people together, juggling multiple priorities, and turning ideas into seamless, mission‑focused events. You love stewardship and know how to turn an attendee into a lifelong supporter.
You Bring:- 3+ years of nonprofit event/fundraising experience
- Experience managing events from intimate gatherings to 500+ guests
- Experience planning and executing a golf tournament
- Strong relationship‑building, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfort with CRMs and online giving/event platforms (Blackbaud, QGiv, First Giving, etc.)
