Advanced Providers Role Scope

We have a growth opportunity for a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice RN (APRN) who will enjoy:

Unique, 1:1 training with a neurosurgeon

Growth and development

Both clinic and OR time (1st Assist) for cranial and spine procedures

Working with a team of advanced practitioners with an abundance of Neurosurgery experience

Established practice and staff who take time with their patients

Shift-Full Timefour 10-hour shifts, M-F. Hours may vary dependent upon case load

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Masters program preferred.

Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut.

Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.

RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) certification required for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Preferred >1-year experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or an Orthopedic setting; 1st Assist in OR preferred
