Registered Nurse – Telemetry| $56 hourly|36 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to support a Surgical Cardiology unit caring for post-operative cardiac patients.

Location:

Hartford, CT
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM OR 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM;
Every other weekend required

Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to telemetry and post–open heart surgery patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
Manage cardiac drips and vasoactive medications
Assess patients post-cardiac surgery and respond to changes in condition
Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on post-operative cardiac care
Document patient care per hospital standards

Requirements
Recent Telemetry RN experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required

Experience with post–open heart patients preferred
Experience managing cardiac drips preferred
