WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Pediatrics for a local contract nursing job in Hartford, Connecticut.

Shift: 8 hours per day (Day Shift, 07:30am-4pm)
Employment Type: Local Contract
- Conduct age‑appropriate assessments, ask diagnostic questions, and document symptoms and medical history for physician review.
- Provide initial and ongoing care based on a child’s developmental needs and clinical condition.
- Identify changes in pediatric patients’ symptoms and intervene promptly in emergency situations.
- Participate in pediatric pain management using evidence‑based, age‑appropriate strategies.
- Administer medications, draw blood, and give childhood vaccinations in accordance with pediatric guidelines.
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
- Support parents and caregivers by addressing concerns, reducing anxiety, and helping families navigate illness or injury.
- Stay current on pediatric best practices, treatment protocols, medications, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records, charts, and documentation.
- EPIC experience required.
- BLS certification.
- PALS certification.
