* ** Position Purpose*
* In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at  
** Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital** , the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy.

*
* What You Will Do:

*
* + Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

+  Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as prescribed as well as monitoring for complications, infections, or changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies.

+ Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence.

** Minimum Qualifications*

* Required:

* + Graduation from an accredited nursing school

+ Valid RN license in Connecticut

** Preferred:*
* + Bachelor's degree in Nursing

+ The ideal candidate will have two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med-surg nursing in a acute inpatient setting.

+ BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
