About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CTICU at Hartford Health Care provides expert bedside care in a team-based environment, ensuring the highest quality of care for critically ill patients. This role is ideal for skilled nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Highlights- Location:
Hartford, CT - Facility:
Hartford Hospital - Department/Unit: 91002-Surgical Svc Bliss North 3
ICU - Schedule:
Full Time, Nights (3 x 12 hour shifts every other weekend and holiday)
- Provide expert bedside care to critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Uphold Hartford Healthcare values of Safety, Excellence, Integrity, and Caring.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Education:
- BSN required
- Minimum one year of acute RN experience required
Certifications:
- Current Connecticut RN License
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
