Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN | Behavioral Health Float Pool

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Regular, rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)

$24.50 – $33.75 per hour, depending on experience.

This LPN position floats to all Behavioral Health inpatient units, including The Link, BHS Urgent Care, and Behavioral Health Adolescent Addiction Unit. The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider.

• Collect data and conduct focused nursing assessments of patients.
• Participate with other health care providers in development and modification of patient‑centered health care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate responses.
• Maintain safe and effective nursing care.
• Advocate for the best interest of patients.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients and health care team members.
• Assist with health counseling and teaching.
• Delegate and assign nursing interventions as needed.

3rd weekend and 3rd holiday rotation; 72 hours every 2 weeks.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Board of Nursing, active license in state of practice.
• Can work specified hours.
• Visual acuity adequate for position duties.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards (CMS, Joint Commission, DHHS, OSHA).
