Location:
West Hartford, CT
Salary: $155,000 – $185,000 per year
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and behavioral health consultations
- Complete hospital‑based psychiatric consults and follow‑up visits
- Assess adult and/or geriatric patients with behavioral health needs
- Manage psychiatric medications and treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and care teams
- Support crisis intervention, treatment planning, and care coordination
- Document visits, assessments, and clinical recommendations in the EMR
- Provide compassionate, patient‑centered psychiatric care
- Active Connecticut APRN license
- PMHNP certification strongly preferred
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner experience
- Hospital, inpatient, consult‑liaison, adult psychiatry, or geriatric psychiatry experience preferred
- Strong medication management and psychiatric assessment skills
- DEA and controlled substance prescribing ability preferred
- Comfortable working in a hospital‑based interdisciplinary setting
