Don't miss the opportunity to be a part of our Inpatient Rehab Unit within Hartford Hospital. All 26 beds are in private inpatient rooms giving our patients access to ongoing acute medical management, 24 hour rehabilitative nursing care and the latest rehab techniques.

Our dedication to delivering personalized coordinated care coupled with the healing environment offered by this new unit will shorten length of stay and allow our patients a quicker and healthier return to home.

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RN) to be part of a team with a patient-centered approach, bringing decades of experience in providing the most innovative care. This position will treat patients with all diagnoses with a focus on stroke, traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, as well as other neurological conditions. Our new unit will feature a collaborative interdisciplinary team atmosphere and approach to patient care.

This is a great opportunity to work in a special inpatient rehab setting, while still having access to the opportunities and benefits provided by an acute care hospital.

Qualifications:

Current Connecticut RN License required prior to start date. Graduate of an accredited nursing school ASN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role). BSN preferred. BLS certification by the American Heart Association. One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply.

Regular Standard Hours Per Week: 36.

Schedule:

Part-time (2 - 39 hours)
