DescriptionPosition
Purpose:
In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain‑management interventions as prescribed; monitor for complications, infections, or changes in condition and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Valid RN license in Connecticut.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med‑surg nursing in an acute inpatient setting.
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Per Diem
- Rotating Shifts
