Join Our Team as a Nurse Manager - Pediatric & Adolescent Women’s Health!

Are you a seasoned nursing professional passionate about transforming patient care for young women and adolescents? We’re seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Pediatric & Adolescent Women’s Health department. In this vital role, you'll develop and implement policies to ensure safe, comprehensive, and high-quality nursing services, while fostering a collaborative environment that promotes clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license and CPR certification (or eligibility to obtain within 90 days)
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical nursing experience in acute or outpatient settings
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience, demonstrating leadership and mentorship skills
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and manage clinical teams effectively
  • Strong knowledge of medication effects, infection control, and population health concepts within a PCMH model
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or additional languages is a plus
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite to facilitate documentation and reporting

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher
  • Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish or other languages
  • Experience working with socioeconomically diverse and multiethnic populations
  • Familiarity with electronic health records, nurse documentation standards, and quality improvement initiatives

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher
  • Extensive experience in a supervisory role within outpatient or acute care settings
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical abilities

  • Ability to work occasional long hours and travel between work-site locations
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
