Pay Range: $22.50 - $31.50 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience)
Position Highlights:
Open to experienced LPNs
Working within the endoscopy unit, helping room patients, helping with procedures and recovering patients post procedure.
Day shifts
What You Will Do- Prepares the room for procedure in a timely fashion, including patient and equipment positioning.
- Maintains efficiency in handling equipment at physicians request during procedures.
- Verifies specimens with Physician and Registered Nurse.
- Achieves and maintains a working knowledge of equipment and tools; cleans and maintains equipment.
- Keeps stock and equipment inventories, including requisitions or forms for maintenance and repair.
- Collects data and conducts a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient.
- Participates with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient-centered healthcare plan; communicate and collaborate with patients and members of healthcare team.
- Advocates for the best interest of the patient and provides for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly.
- Assists with health counseling and teaching.
- Implements, delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan of care and assist in evaluating the response to interventions.

- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing:
An active license in the state of practice upon hire - SGNA GI Associates Program - Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) within 1-1/2 Yrs
