About This Role

The Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor is an experienced Registered Nurse responsible for supervising and monitoring the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulations while fostering a positive environment for nursing practice.

• Location: Hartford, CT
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift
• Department/Unit: 92003-Nursing Admin BHN

• Supervise and monitor the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift.
• Ensure the appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Create a positive environment for the professional practice of nursing.
• Foster continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Ensure patient flow throughout the organization.
• Provide leadership for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit manager, director, or administration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required

• 3 years of acute care charge or supervisory experience required
• Progressive leadership experience

• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut required
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
