Principal and Coordinator of Health Services
Responsible for providing general health care services to students.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school for registered nurses, BSN preferred.
- Successful experience as a school nurse preferred.
- Experience with nursing procedures (tracheotomy, G-tube feeding, catheterization, diabetic care, etc.) highly preferred.
- Knowledgeable of school health procedures including state and federal mandates.
- Desire and demonstrated ability to work with school-aged children.
- Current and valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license.
- Current and valid CPR certification.
Salary in accordance with Hartford Federation of School Health Professionals ) - Appendix A, Salary Schedule 5A: ($47,593-$73,042). 10‑month work year.
