Position Purpose
At Saint Francis Hospital the inpatient Oncology Unit provides care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions. We also provide care to medical/surgical patients. We provide hospice and end of life services.

- Actively participate in unit shared decision-making.
- Enjoy practice autonomy using nurse-driven protocols.
- Deliver compassionate, ethical, and respectful care aligned with Trinity Health’s mission and values.
- Apply the full nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate) to provide high-quality care.
- Serve as a resource for others and may take on expanded roles intermittently.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred. - Licensure:
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut. - Preferred Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC)
- Full Time-36 Hours/Day Shift
- Every Other Weekend/Holiday
