Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to support our growing Outpatient Oncology & Infusion Services team across Hartford and Glastonbury, Connecticut. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to support day-to-day operations of our outpatient cancer and infusion centers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care for oncology and hematology patients.

• Support daily clinical operations, staffing, and patient flow across multiple outpatient oncology and infusion locations.
• Assist in leading, mentoring, and developing registered nurses, medical assistants, and support staff.
• Promote a culture of patient safety, quality, service excellence, and evidence-based practice.
• Provide clinical oversight and serve as a resource for complex patient care situations.
• Partner with leadership to achieve quality, compliance, patient experience, and operational goals.
• Facilitate staff onboarding, education, competency validation, and professional development.
• Monitor performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster employee engagement, retention, and a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence while supporting patients, families, providers, and staff.

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required.
• Oncology, infusion, ambulatory, or outpatient specialty experience strongly preferred.
• Prior Charge Nurse, Lead RN, Preceptor, or Leadership experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication, organization, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems preferred.
