Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Critical Care Nurse

Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in a critical care setting, managing both emergency department and inpatient holds. Responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams during 7p-7:30a shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient needs and prioritize care based on acuity and RN ratios.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess changes in condition continuously.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the appropriate state.
• Have previous experience managing ED and inpatient hold patients.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be able to work 36 hours per week during night shifts.
• Maintain CPR and ACLS certifications.
