Position Purpose
At Saint Francis Hospital the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders & epilepsy.

DescriptionAt Saint Francis Hospital the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders & epilepsy.
What You Will Do- Monitor, record, and respond to patients’ clinical status.
- Assist with hyperacute and acute treatment and support and encourage rehabilitation.
- Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - BSN graduate preferred.
- Licensure:
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut. - Certification: BLS required.
Work Schedule:
Full time, 36 Hour Nights
- Specialized 4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
- Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center Certification (TSC)
