Responsible for providing general health care services to students
Graduate of an accredited school for registered nurses, BSN preferred.
Successful experience as a school nurse preferred.
Experience with nursing procedures (tracheotomy, G-tube feeding, catheterization, diabetic care, etc.) highly preferred.
Knowledgeable of school health procedures including state and federal mandates.
Desire and demonstrated ability to work with school-aged children.
Current and valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license
Current and valid CPR certification
Salary in accordance with Hartford Federation of School Health Professionals ) - Appendix A, Salary Schedule 5A: ($47,593-$73,042). 10-month work year.
