Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) in Hartford, CT

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Tele RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday required

• Current RN license, in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Proven experience with cardiac drips, including amiodarone and Cardizem
• Telemetry experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
• Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to excel under pressure and adapt quickly to evolving situations

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care and continuous cardiac monitoring to patients on the telemetry unit
• Initiate and manage complex cardiac drips, adjusting according to provider protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient education on cardiac conditions and ongoing treatments
• Document assessments, interventions, and changes in patient status with accuracy and timeliness
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality care

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
