Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Telemetry Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, closely monitoring cardiac and other vital signs. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate assessments and effective interventions, maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' cardiac status and monitor telemetry data continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update care plans.
• Respond promptly to abnormal telemetry alarms and emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active state licensing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms, telemetry protocols, and emergency procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills.
