Registered Nurse (RN) - Trauma Care
This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in trauma care. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills and experience in assessing and managing trauma patients in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center environment. The RN will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with complex trauma needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to trauma patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and symptoms during treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and trauma recovery strategies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications required.
- Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center is essential.
- Completion of Trinity-specific health evaluations and screenings is required before onboarding.
