Trauma Nurse - Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, 36 hours/week, every other weekend.
We are seeking an experienced Trauma Nurse for our night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience working in level 1 or level 2 trauma centers and possess the essential certifications needed for advanced trauma care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide critical patient care in a fast-paced trauma environment.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for trauma patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as ordered.
- Educate patients and families regarding trauma care and recovery processes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a level 1 or level 2 trauma center.
- Fit Test for respirators and COVID-19 vaccine required for onboarding.
- Physical/Health statement and drug screening required.
