Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU Bliss North

About This Role

Join the new Bliss Building PACU team at Hartford Health Care, where you will provide 24/7 post-operative care to patients recovering from various surgical and interventional procedures. This role is ideal for RNs who thrive in a collaborative environment and possess strong critical thinking skills.

• Location: Hartford, CT
• Facility: Hartford Hospital
• Department/Unit: PACU Bliss North
• Schedule: Part Time, Day shift

• Recover patients from general and regional anesthesia.
• Provide care requiring acute and ICU level support.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to establish interdepartmental workflows.
• Utilize critical thinking and communication skills in patient care.
• Participate in the development of a new 10 bay PACU unit.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited nursing school with BSN preferred

Experience:

• PACU and/or ICU experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current Connecticut RN License
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
