* ** Position Purpose*

** Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center** , the Nursing Supervisor (House) serves as the on-site leadership presence during nights, weekends, and holidays. This role ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all units by coordinating nursing operations, supporting staff, and resolving clinical and administrative issues. The supervisor acts as a resource for nursing teams and collaborates with other departments to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency.

** What You Will Do*
* + Provide on-site nursing leadership during nights, weekends, and holidays.

+ Support and guide nursing staff across departments.

+ Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.

+ Resolve clinical and operational issues in real time.

+ Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

** Minimum Qualifications*

* Required:

* + Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

+ Valid RN license in Connecticut.

+ The ideal candidate will have three or more years in inpatient Intensive Care or ICU-level Nursing experience. Special consideration and preference for those with two or more years of leadership roles, such as Critical Care, Charge Nurse, or Assistant Nurse Manager.

** Preferred:*
* + BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

+ Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS).

+ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

** Position Highlights and Benefits*
* + Full Time: 36 hours per week - Night Shift

+ 12-hour shifts. Shifts will support Nights and Weekend hours

+ Salaried position, eligible for shift differentials.

+ Compensation Range: $83.304 min - $133,328 max.
