Registered Nurse Infusion

Job Summary:

Provide specialized infusion nursing care to patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to treatment protocols. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor responses to therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion therapies and medications following prescribed protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status throughout treatment sessions.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, observations, and patient responses.
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection control practices during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and modify individualized care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Proven experience in infusion or related clinical settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of infusion techniques, IV management, and patient assessment.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to recognize and respond to adverse reactions or complications.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
