About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medicine ICU at Hartford Health Care provides high-quality care to patients with complex medical issues in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for skilled nurses looking to enhance their critical thinking and clinical skills.

- Schedule: Full Time, Night shift
- Provide bedside care to patients with complex medical issues.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking and medical knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to unit goals.
- Education: BSN required
- Experience: Minimum one year acute care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred

Certifications:
Current Connecticut RN License - BLS certification required prior to date of hire
