In this role, you will inspect flight-critical precision components to tight tolerances using hand tools and precision gauging methods, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and depth gauges. You will investigate non-conformances, support Material Review Board activity, and help rework parts to specification, with hands-on training and shadowing provided by senior inspectors and machinists.
This role would suit a Quality Inspector or experienced Machinist with a tight-tolerance background, looking for a day-shift role with strong earning potential, quarterly increases, and progression.
The Role:
- Inspecting flight-critical precision components to tight tolerances.
- Using hand tools and precision gauging methods (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, depth gauges).
- Investigating non-conformances and supporting Material Review Board activity.
The Person:
- Quality inspection or experienced machinist background
- Tight-tolerance manufacturing experience
- Skilled with precision hand gauging (CMM an advantage)
