North East Electrical is looking for a full‑time Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Hartford, CT.
Shift: Monday‑Friday 6 am–3 pm. Salary Range: $25–$28 per hour plus commission.
Responsibilities- Taking orders over the phone, in person, and via digital tools.
- Entering stock, special, direct, and back orders as required.
- Providing customers with information and demonstration of online solution for fast and easy ordering through the website.
- Supporting the Branch Manager in transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material.
- Displaying and stocking material in counter and showroom; participating in promotions.
- Performing other duties as required or directed by the Manager.
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and website navigation.
- Strong customer service/communication skills; electrical or construction experience helpful.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
- Dependable and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs using manual and PIT equipment.
