Facility Services Account Executive

At Kaloutas, we believe the best work happens through trusted relationships. As a Facility Services Account Executive, you will focus on building direct partnerships with facility managers, property managers, plant managers, and owners to identify, sell, and manage facility maintenance and improvement work.

Unlike traditional construction project management focused primarily on general contractors, this role is centered around direct‑to‑owner relationships, repeat business, responsiveness, and becoming a trusted partner for ongoing facility needs. You will spend the majority of your time growing accounts, uncovering opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, while also overseeing projects from proposal through completion.

This is a 70% facility services / business development role and 30% project management role.

Key Responsibilities Facility Relationship Management & Business Development (70%)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships directly with facility managers, property managers, building owners, operations leaders, and maintenance teams
  • Proactively identify opportunities for recurring maintenance, repairs, shutdown work, capital improvements, and specialty trade services
  • Develop long‑term customer partnerships that position Kaloutas as a trusted facility services provider who creates solutions unlike any other service partner
  • Truly understand the customer’s teams, workflow, decision making and budgeting process.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, existing customer expansion, and relationship development
  • Conduct regular customer visits, facility site assessments, and regular facility meetings to uncover upcoming facility needs and solve their challenges
  • Act as a trusted advisor by identifying solutions that improve facility appearance, safety, uptime, and long‑term performance
  • Manage and grow a pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools
  • Attend facility management events, trade shows, and industry networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to increase customer retention, repeat business, and overall account growth
  • Conduct site visits to understand project scope, customer goals, and operational constraints
  • Prepare accurate estimates, scopes of work, and proposals for facility‑related services
  • Present proposals and solution recommendations directly to customers
  • Coordinate project execution with Operations to ensure successful delivery
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the lifecycle of facility service projects
  • Proactively resolve customer concerns, schedule changes, and project‑related challenges
  • Participate in WIP meetings to monitor project progress and financial performance
  • Approve change orders, vendor charges, and invoices as needed
  • Ensure smooth project handoff and communication between customer, field teams, and operations
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in facility services, construction services, commercial maintenance, industrial services, or relationship‑based B2B sales
  • Proven ability to build relationships and grow accounts through trust and responsiveness
  • Experience working directly with facility managers, property managers, plant managers, or owners preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow‑through skills
  • Comfortable balancing customer relationship management with project oversight
  • Ability to walk job sites and understand customer facility needs
  • Self‑starter mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities

Compensation

Range of 90-140k Dependent on experience (salary / bonus / incentives)
