Job SummaryThe Major Account Manager partners with customers to secure their digital experience, leading and driving sales engagements through consultative selling, value creation, and portfolio positioning. This role is a key driver of revenue and growth for Palo Alto Networks.
Your Impact- Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles, working with internal partners to best serve the customer.
- Use consultative selling to identify business challenges and create solutions.
- Understand competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- Create clear goals and accurate forecasting through detailed territory planning.
- Leverage prospect stories to craft compelling value propositions.
- Stay updated on industry news and trends affecting products and services.
- Travel within territory as needed and attend company-wide meetings.
- Experience with SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security industry.
- Demonstrated complex solution selling, value selling, and consultative techniques.
- Technical aptitude to understand how technology solves business problems.
- Ability to identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
- Build relationships with channel partners to pursue channel‑centric GTM approach.
- Deep knowledge of full sales cycle and structured sales process.
- Holistic problem‑solving mindset, considering complex interrelationships.
- Excellent time‑management, autonomy, and self‑direction.
The sales team works closely with large organizations around the world, providing solutions, research, and support to protect digital environments.
