Whether customers visit for new or used Subaru sales, maintenance, or parts, they can expect a friendly, professional, and reliable experience.

Role Description

The Business Development Center Representative is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Hartford, CT. This position is responsible for handling inbound and outbound phone calls, responding to online inquiries, and setting appointments for sales and service departments. The representative will follow up with prospective and existing customers, provide information about vehicles and services, and help ensure a smooth transition from initial contact to in‑person visits.

Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, meeting contact and appointment goals, and collaborating with the sales and service teams to support customer satisfaction and dealership growth.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on building positive, long‑term relationships.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for professional interactions with customers and team members.
  • Candidates should possess Sales skills, including the ability to identify customer needs, present options clearly, and encourage appointment setting.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities, including accurate data entry and CRM usage.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused automotive dealership environment.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Hartford, CT, with a reliable work ethic and consistent attendance.
  • Prior experience in a call center, automotive, or retail environment is beneficial but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business, communications, or related fields is a plus.
