NBC & Telemundo Connecticut Internships provide students with real world experience and exposure to working in the television industry. Internships at NBC & Telemundo Connecticut are paid and do not require course credit.

Pay rate is minimum wage.

NBC Connecticut & Telemundo Connecticut are looking for a team player to join our Sales team. As a Sales intern on this team, you will support the development of multiplatform campaigns and strategies that drive advertising revenue for the stations.

• Create PowerPoint presentations on business trends and actively participate in all meetings.
• Assist in pipeline management by pulling through zero share business, prospective lucrative business categories and cold calling.
• Assist digital sales planner by helping to manage all phases of the pre- and post‑sale digital campaign process, including creating media plans, gathering campaign assets and optimizing campaigns.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with sales team to develop creative solutions for advertisers.
• Generate ideas for advertisers that could lead to new sources of revenue – stay on top of current events, market trends, emerging business categories and competitive efforts to identify innovative revenue streams.
• Ensure customer satisfaction in pre‑ and post‑sales service. Monitor the delivery of cross‑platform campaigns to ensure communication between sales and marketing.
• Navegate and learn effectively through a wide variety of platforms and avenues: digital, web research, mobile, social media, sports, television, sponsor ships.
• Support sales team in pipeline management via account creation, claims, and changes in Sales Force portal.
• Assist sales marketing team in projects as designated and relevant to account executive / client campaigns.
• Provide various administrative support on daily tasks.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree‑granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
