THE ROLE:

Territory Manager, Connecticut& Western MA

As the face of Intellijoint Surgical
in Connecticut& Western Massachusetts, you will:

  • Optimize,maintain, and continue our growth trajectory within existing accounts
  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, their care teams, and our industry partners
  • Drive deeper market penetration through continued adoption of our innovative technology
  • Ensure that our technology continues to be the go-to solution for hip and knee replacement procedures.

THE DETAILS:
What You Will Do
  • Manageand Expand Key Accounts:Build andmaintainrelationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and other healthcare providers.

    Work with current customers to deepen their use of Intellijoint products,provide expert guidance and training, ensuringcontinuedcustomer satisfaction.
  • Train Surgeons and OR Staff:You’lldeliver top-notch training to surgeons, nurses, and OR staff, making sure everyone knows how to use our tech safely,effectively, and independently.

    You’llprovide support during select surgical casesand work with distributors or independent reps to keep clinical activities running smoothly.
  • Lead& Launch New Business Generation:You'lllead complex sales activities involving multiple decision-makers, generate leads, do product demos, work with legal teams tofinalizecontracts,onboard newaccountsand their surgical teams,and ensure long-term satisfaction post-sale.
  • Distribution Partners Support:Build strong relationships with our distribution partners.

    You’llhold quarterly strategy meetings and after-action reviews to make surewe’reall aligned and constantly improving.
  • Stay Accountable:Keep the lines of communication open.

    You'llreport back to the Regional Sales Manager and your peers on new business pipeline projections andutilizationusing our CRM tools.
  • Drive Product Improvements:Collaborate with our Product Specialist team to bring back customer feedback and spot new opportunities for growth.
  • Handle Inventory & Logistics:Ensure equipment and assets are where they need to be. This includes delivering trays and consumables to facilities and helping with system updates and setups.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
  • You meet (and exceed) your goals every quarter.
  • The number of hospitals and systems using Intellijoint has increased.
  • You have deepened the relationships with existing key accounts.
  • Surgeons, Nurses, and OR staff are trained and knowledgeable to use our tech safely and effectively.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 3 - 5+ years of documented sales success in the medical device, medical technology, or orthopedics sector.
  • Or 8+ years of sales experience with a consistent track recordof exceeding targets within a technical field.
  • A solid understanding of anatomy is a big plus!
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • A valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle.
  • A passport foroccasionaltravel between the U.S. and Canada.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Frequent two-handed lifting of up to 40 lbs. from floor to chair/table and from one to another surface at approximately thesame level.
  • Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day.
  • Able to wear 7-9 lbs of lead for extended periods while in the Operating Room.
  • Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation.
  • Able to navigate tight spaces within an Operating Room.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in relation to travel andoperatinga personal computer.
