• Maintain security of prisoners in the courtroom.
• Escort prisoners to and from holding cells to courtrooms using handcuffs, shackles, and other restraints.
• Escort prisoners in medical facilities if admitted.
• Transport prisoners from correctional institutes to courthouses and medical facilities.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

This position is considered a per-diem position and hours will vary week to week.

• Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of detention officer, law enforcement, or military police experience.
• State Unrestricted Carry Permit.
• State Armed Security License.
