About the Role:
We are looking to add an experienced HVAC Controls Programmer to our team in the Hartford, CT area. This role will focus on programming, integrating, and supporting building automation systems, with a strong emphasis on Tridium Niagara platforms. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-performing, energy-efficient systems across a variety of commercial projects.
- Program and configure BAS systems using Tridium Niagara (N4 preferred)
- Translate sequences of operation and as-built drawings into functional control logic
- Integrate multiple control systems (open and proprietary) into Niagara front-end platforms
- Develop and modify graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for system visualization
- Support system startup, commissioning, and software upgrades
- Troubleshoot DDC systems, controllers, and communication networks
- Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and service staff to support project execution
- Work with customer IT teams to establish and maintain network connectivity
- Track programming progress, deadlines, and hours for assigned projects
- Communicate directly with customers regarding system performance, issues, and recommended improvements
- Provide training to end users on system operation and front-end navigation
Assist in mentoring junior team members as needed
- 2+ years of experience with Tridium Niagara (N4 preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences
- Experience with DDC systems, BACnet, and networked controls
- Ability to read and interpret control drawings and sequences of operation
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team
