About the Role

Alliance Used Truck Center is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Hartford. Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and complex after-treatment devices.
  • Maintain a general understanding of all heavy-duty truck systems (brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.).
  • Collaborate with management to suggest improvements to shop workflow and business operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years working on heavy-duty trucks.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines and emissions/after-treatment systems.
  • Personal inventory of tools required for the trade.
  • A desire for continuous learning and a team-oriented attitude.
Additional Requirements

Must have own tools and be able to move trucks around in the parking lot and pull trucks into the repair bay. CDL is not a requirement, but it is beneficial. Looking for someone with a good attitude who wants to be a part of a winning team.
