Licensed Residential HVAC Service Technician

Hartford, CT
• On-site
• Permanent • $40-$55 per hour (compensation based on experience).

Overview

Join a well-established residential HVAC contractor serving homeowners in the Hartford, Connecticut area. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify effective solutions.
  • Explain repair recommendations and replacement options clearly to homeowners.
  • Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Accurately document work performed and maintain service records.
  • Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and professional.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every job.
Qualifications
  • Active Connecticut HVAC license (D-2, S-2, S-10, or S-1) required.
  • 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience using Service Titan or similar field service software is a plus.
