We are seeking a Field Service Technician with experience in motors and pumps to join our growing team in Hartford, CT. This is a field-based role requiring both technical expertise and excellent communication skills. You will travel to client sites to perform hands‑on service work and ensure the operational integrity of mission-critical equipment.

• Install, inspect, service, and repair electric motors and pump systems at customer locations
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in field settings
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
• Clearly document all service work, parts used, and recommendations
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service findings and maintenance best practices
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with REM Industrial standards and OSHA regulations
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely parts procurement and job completion

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electromechanical tech, or a related field is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or repair of industrial motors and pumps
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and work from technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Professional communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and travel locally or regionally as needed
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
