Salary Range: $24.00 To $24.00 Annually

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Reunification Therapeutic Family Time Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic support to families who are working towards reunification. You will work closely with parents and children to facilitate healthy relationships and positive interactions during family time visits. Your ultimate goal will be to help families successfully reunite and maintain healthy relationships moving forward.

As a Reunification Therapeutic Family Time Counselor, you will play a critical role in helping families heal and grow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field
• Current licensure as a counselor or social worker
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing family therapy services
• Experience working with families involved in the child welfare system
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Experience providing services in a community-based setting

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate therapeutic family time visits between parents and children
• Provide individual and family counseling to support reunification goals
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address family dynamics and challenges
• Collaborate with other professionals involved in the case, including social workers and attorneys
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided

Skills:

As a Reunification Therapeutic Family Time Counselor, you will utilize your strong counseling and communication skills to build positive relationships with families and facilitate healthy interactions during family time visits. You will also draw on your knowledge of trauma-informed care principles to provide effective treatment and support to families. Additionally, your ability to collaborate with other professionals involved in the case will be critical to the success of the reunification process.

Finally, your strong documentation skills will ensure that all services provided are accurately and thoroughly recorded.
