Developer Contract Opportunity - Hartford, CT
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT. The candidate must have strong expertise in Mongo
DB schema design and performance optimization to be considered for this role.
Rate Range: $47/hour to $51/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Mongo
DB schemas, including optimal document modeling and indexing strategies. - Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Mongo
DB with Node.js, Java, and Python. - Perform query optimization, profiling, and performance tuning to ensure efficient database operations.
- Manage core database functions such as replication, sharding, backup, restore, and transaction handling.
- Utilize Mongo
DB Aggregation Framework to build complex data processing pipelines and analytics queries. - Monitor database health and performance using Mongo
DB Ops Manager and Mongo
DB Atlas tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 6–8 years of professional experience working with Mongo
DB and backend development. - Strong hands‑on expertise in Mongo
DB schema design, indexing, and performance tuning. - Proven experience in building backend services using Node.js, Java, or Python with deep proficiency in Mongo
DB operations and optimization.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $51.00 per hour
