Position: Senior .NET Full Stack Developer Lead (React/AWS)

About the Role

As a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer Lead, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications using .NET, React, AWS, and SQL Server technologies. You will be a valued member of the engineering team, working collaboratively with client stakeholders, business partners, cross-functional teams, and offshore delivery teams to drive high-quality software solutions and successful project outcomes.

In This Role, You Will
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications using .NET Core, React, AWS, SQL Server, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions that align with business objectives and architectural standards.
  • Drive technical delivery, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, troubleshooting, and implementation of development best practices.
  • Partner with offshore teams to coordinate delivery activities, manage priorities, and ensure timely, high-quality project execution.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered
  • Strong experience developing enterprise applications using .NET Core / C# and modern software development frameworks.
  • Hands‑on expertise with React.js and JavaScript‑based front‑end development.
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams, managing both functional and technical work streams, and driving successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client‑facing skills.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with distributed and offshore delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, debugging, and application performance optimization.
These Will Help You Stand Out
  • Experience with in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud‑native architectures and application modernization initiatives.
  • Experience defining scalable software architectures and technical roadmaps.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and continuous delivery optimization.
  • Proven track record of building strong client relationships and serving as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Passion for mentoring developers and fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $64,000 – $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
