Compensation Overview

Base salary range: $ – $. Salary will be determined by role scope, location, experience, and other factors.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage your solid technical foundation while developing specialized skills in Salesforce development, configuration, and integration to support strategic digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and streamline business processes.
  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions using modern architectures, microservices, and API integrations that align with business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for Salesforce development initiatives, establishing best practices and driving process improvements across the development lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce implementations.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards, including automated testing frameworks (Apex tests, Lightning testing), CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments, and application monitoring practices.
  • Mentor and develop engineering team members on Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Drive technical decision‑making within the Salesforce ecosystem, evaluating trade‑offs and considering broad business implications.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, and champion adoption of relevant innovations within the team.
  • Measure and optimize the impact of Salesforce solutions through data analysis, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead proof of concept efforts to validate technical approaches and deliver creative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, from developers to executive stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive solution documentation.
  • Take ownership of critical Salesforce projects from conception through delivery, ensuring successful outcomes and team alignment.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated Salesforce platform expertise.
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect) strongly preferred, or commitment to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Proven track record implementing Salesforce solutions using modern architectures, microservices, and API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle with ability to recommend platform best practices and process improvements.
  • Proficiency in automated testing for Salesforce (Apex tests, Lightning testing), CI/CD practices for Salesforce deployments, and monitoring application health.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business partnerships and align Salesforce solutions with business objectives.
  • Experience staying current with Salesforce releases and platform trends, sharing knowledge with team members.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills using Salesforce platform capabilities, data analysis, and proof of concepts to deliver creative solutions.
  • Ability to measure Salesforce solution impact and continuously optimize implementations.
  • Experience making technical decisions within the Salesforce ecosystem that balance multiple factors and broad business implications.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain Salesforce technical concepts to business stakeholders and document solutions clearly.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams on Salesforce initiatives.
  • Leadership experience taking ownership of Salesforce projects, mentoring team members, and influencing technical direction.
Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
  • Additional 6+ years of software engineering experience.
